Yes, either a high school diploma or GED.

Can I visit Venus Beauty Academy to see if this is the right field for me?

Yes!  We offer a free one day trial - with no cost or obligation to you!  We recommend that you visit every school you are looking into to see which is the best fit for you.

Should I take certain courses in high school that will help me for the Academy?

It is not necessary.

What subjects will I be learning at Venus Beauty Academy?

Will I learn makeup tattooing?

No, there is no license required in Pennsylvania.

What is a typical day/week/month at Venus Beauty Academy?

  • Theory - bookwork, the how and why of what you are doing.
  • Demonstrations by the teachers or outside educators to explain what you have learned.
  • Practical hands-on - doing what you have learned.

Will there be homework?

Yes. Typical homework includes textbook studying, workbook exercises, review questions, projects, and competitions.

Is there any tutoring or special education offered at your Academy?

No. However there is always a teacher around to assist you.
